A friend and photographer, Mark Johnston, asked me to help create a few core branding and website designs for a small business owner in Monument Valley. This was a very collaborative project. Mark took all of the gorgeous photography which I used to create a one-page site. We both worked together on the copy to tell the story of this company that is all about sharing culture and creating memorable experiences for its guests. As for the logo design, the owner Bennett Yazzi, had sketched the iconic cluster of buttes. I took his sketch and incorporated it into a logo. We had few resources but wanted to do what we could to support a great local business with an incredible location.
